Welcome to Cygnus Counselling’s online booking page. Cygnus Counselling offers trauma-informed and inclusive counselling services in-person on Gabriola Island, BC and in Nanaimo, BC. Online services are available across BC.

I do my best to organize my appointments so they are easily scheduled online. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please email me as I might have availability outside of what appears here. I may offer counselling for 2 people (or more) on a case-by-case basis, please contact me directly at Leslie@cygnuscounselling.ca.

As of Mar. 1st, 2026, all session rates will increase by $5/session. 60 min sessions are charged at $155/hr., and additional time over 1 hour is $30/15 mins. For more information, visit cygnuscounselling.ca.

I offer free consultations. This is time reserved for us to discuss what you are looking for in counselling and to ask me questions about my practice. If you would prefer to schedule a full session, you are welcome to proceed and book a session online choosing from the options below.

Leslie Sanderson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#19889) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (#10010489). She specializes in trauma-informed and inclusive care for individuals coping with the impact of relational trauma, early attachment wounding, personal growth, transitions, and general life challenges.
